The Return of John Britt is a workshop scheduled in Kettering, Ohio
at Rosewood Arts Center and will focus on cone 10 reduction firing. John
Britt, author of "The Complete Guide to High Fire and Glazes: Glazing and
Firing at Cone 10" will conduct a three day workshop from March 31 to April
2. Glazes will include Shino, Ash, Copper Reds and Celedons. Glaze
applications and firing techniques will be covered in the workshop. Fees
are $75 and $85. Participants may register by call Rosewood Arts Centre at
(937) 296-0294. Participants should bring 4 to 5 mediaum sized bisque ware
of white stoneware or procelain cabable of cone 10 firing. Kettering, Ohio
is located fivre miles south of Dayton, Ohio and 45 miles north of
