Am considering a test kiln. Have a new Skutt KM1027 3" brick kiln but think
it might be prudent to have a tiny cone 10 electric kiln for test firing an=
d
firing tiny things. Was considering one of the Olympic Hot Box Kilns with
the "3 Key Electric Controller" by Bartista but was warned that this might
not correspond well to the great contoller on the Skutt.
So.... any ideas?
Thanks tons.

Susan,
The 3 key controller used on the Olympic HB86E and the controller used on
the Skutt are both made by Bartlett. The 3 key can be programmed to ramp up
and mimic your larger kiln very easily. The main difference between the 3
key and the 12 key on the Skutt is the programming. The 3 key uses arrows
to adjust the temperature up or down and with the12 key you press the
numbers for your desired inputs. If you want a 12 key on your HB86 it can
be done.. The Bartlett V6CF controller is the same as the Skutt. Feel free
to call me at 800-241-4400 if this is of interest to you.
