Got home ,full day of jets and airports..yuck.. not bad going out but coming
home makes for a long day..Spent 4 hrs at the Hotlanta Airport..
Monday morning I drank coffee out my Pirate mug that came with a " Would
Black Beard Do" bumper sticker.. Yes,, its on my truck.. My neighbors will like
it im sure..
As all NCECAs I hung out with my Clayart family. I guess if I was in College
I would go with that group for a couple of years but then you graduate and
have to find another group.
The thing about Clayart we stay together like family for years adding more
family..It is so great...I have added more family this NCECCA .. These members
are people that I havent sat and talked to or had dinner or coffee with...
New to me, but i knew them by name only...
Of course Ken Nowicki is now like my brother or a close cousin ,,, we have
so much fun..Nan has always been like my favorite sister..Clayart is a special
group and there are so many of us..
Still going through all the paper work i picked up ,, saw some great pots ,,
heard ONE lecture about woodfire also got to a Japanese Garden , Got to
listen to the NCECCA higher uppers Blab on about bla, bla, bla, bla
Now i have to figure out how often do i want to eat Salmon,, of course i
like to grill it often...
Looking forward to using my new slab roller and thinking about a new
extruder...
Now that we have the Potters Council work shops all over the U.S. we will
have the oppertunity to be together more often..If any of you have ideas for
workshops and have a place to have them please email me at _ashpots@aol.com_
(mailto:ashpots@aol.com) so that we can be together more often..
Great to be home
