Hi Jim Bob,

I was the lucky recipient of your great mug (stein) with the Harley
applique, sorry I didn't get a chance to thank you in person.

Hello everybody,

=20

Portland was a great nceca experience for me. There is always so much =
to see and do it can be a little overwhelming. This was the most action =
packed nceca for me to date. I heard more lectures and saw more shows =
than at any previous conference. also ran into the most friends at =
Portland, what a great time.

=20

It is always nice to see the folks you know but I think it's even better =
getting to meet new folks and put names and faces to screen names. I =
really enjoyed meeting my new roomie this year, mark issenberg. mark, =
it was great to meet you and thanks for letting me share the room with =
you. Ken was a new face for me too, what a good guy. The wenches were =
fun also. I'm not very good with names and doing good to remember the =
two I did, but it was nice meeting everyone. Sorry I didn't make more =
time to be around and just hang, relax & chat.

=20

The clay art room is the best idea anyone has ever come up with. I =
started every morning there and finished each night there. It was =
pretty sad to come from the room Saturday morning and find the place =
being shut down. To me that was the sign that nceca was coming to a =
close. The mug exchange was great this year. I was not able to make =
the exchange event due to seeing shows with friends. But, I've got to =
tell you all.I could not believe how the quality of the cups and things =
is coming along. Please don't misunderstand me.the work is always good =
but in my humble opinion.it's really getting to be a nice little "show" =
for lack of better terms. I thought the work was really nice. I was the =
lucky recipient of the mug with the bird of paradise on it, really cool =
cup.

I hope everyone made it home safe and has good Portland memories. Until =
we meet again I'll be gently lurking in the back ground.

Have a great day,

Jim Bob

Hey Professor,

Damn you're lucky to get to room with Mark. He throws with ribs, has
TWO buckets of water at his wheel, and sprays ash all over his pots.
Lucky duck. If I had my druthers, I'd room with Iron Mountain; he
likes tractors.
