came to our house today.
the cover picture was of very commercial looking
JEWELRY. looked just like a jewelry store ad. (the shane (nasal) company.)
the brochure mentioned jewelry, costumes, clothing for sale...
not a mention of clay, hand made craft.
not even a mention that potters would show work.
it is a new world.
slick as grease.

and i agree, diversify or die.
i think i will see if i can reverse the trend...go to china
and sell some hand made pots. :)
and my guess would be, if karen hendley started her own
school, kids would flock to it...and get a dandy education.
all education starts with motivation and trust. she would
take care of that part. i wish i could send my grand/daughter
to her school.
