overview to cone 10 ceramic glazes designed for beginning and intermediate
potters.
John Britt is author of "The Complete Guide to High-Fire Glazes: Glazing
and Firing at Cone 10." Firing dynamics and principles will also be
discussed. The basic classifications of glazes such as Shino, Copper Reds,
Ash and Celedon and their properties in firing techniques will also be
included. For more information, call Rosewood Arts Centre at (937) 296-
0294."
After seeing this post, I requested more information on the date and cost
of the workshop. I don't think there's been a reply and I have since
discovered the information for myself so I thought I would pass it along
in case there are any other interested Clayart-ers.
FYI, Rosewood Arts Centre is in Kettering Ohio near Dayton (SW OH.)

According to a friend of mine who has a brochure, the workshop will be
held on the following dates: 3/31 F. 6-9, 4/1 S. 10-6, 4/2 Sun. 11-5 The
fee is: $75 resident/$85 non-resident.
