Dear Clayart friends,

I wanted to mention another really, really great workshop.
Another one I think shouldn't be missed ( and in case anyone accuses me-she
hasn't paid me-I get nothing out of this-I am not a plant {God would've made
me ragweed if I were})

OK sorry back to Sandi- Wonderful funny lady-Really well planned and
presented workshop. We had about 20 people in there and she hand built and presented
in a way that everyone could see very well played the room well I guess.
Always made sure to show each step. Lots of darting and stretching the clay-she
worked in Terra cotta for years, she now works in cone six porcelain-pots to
die for of course. It was a hands on workshop-I really just haven't enjoyed
hand building up to now. Suddenly I'm just so inspired, and now enjoying it
because of this workshop-there were lots of other potters who have been selling
for years taking the workshop-people I talked to all felt that they had
taken something away to use in their own work like I did.

I felt so badly for all the friends who didn't take the workshop-but they
were impressed with the couple of things I got a chance to show them.

I did mention to Sandi that I was going to write something on Clayart and
asked her about upcoming workshops. She and her husband Neil Patterson both give
workshops and have one in July out of their Philadelphia Studio, She has one
April 8th or so at the Queensboro Potters They have one at Sugar Maples in
the Catskills in August-I don't think their workshop page is up to date on the
web site,

but it's best to contact her of course their web site is sandiandneil.com
and email _pots@sandiandneil.com_ (mailto:pots@sandiandneil.com)

It was just so wonderful and inspiring!
