Hello !
I am from Bangladesh and planning to visit some of the pottery villages =
in Thailand and if possible at Vietnam also. I love pottery and potters. =
For the last 3 years I have been trying to develop the rural potters and =
linking them with mainstream market. I formed 10 potter groups and =
supporting 300 potter families with advanced training, semi-automatic =
metal wheel, production shed, high temparature kiln, development of =
display centre and assist them to organise national and local pottery =
trade fair. =20
I want to see some of the developments have taken place over there in =
the field of pottery to enrich my understanding and knowledge on =
pottery.=20
I need reasonably cheap accomodations and free guide. I understand =
english very well. My planeed visit will be mainly for 7-8 days. at =
later part of may or early June. Is any one there who will take interest =
to be around with me in the pottery development sites. In exchange I can =
work for him/ her for a long time basis to develop pottery market here =
by means of joint venture in the pottery sector. Here within the country =
pottery product got a great demand and the size of market is growing =
rapidly.=20
I organised 1st National Pottery Trde fair in Bangladesh last month, =
which was visited by around 10000 visitor within 4 days only.
