Just out of curiosity, does anyone on the list know the origin of the =
term Mamo glaze? Is it the name of the person who first made it or does =
it describe a particular class of glaze? I'm always interested in the =
origin of terms and names.
By the way, I'm enjoying the thread on wood fire since I am in the =
process of building an Olsen fast fire wood/gas kiln. I am putting in =
burner ports in case I should choose to fire with gas instead. I've =
read the archives on the Osen fast fire and have gleaned a lot of =
information. If anyone can give me any tips and advice, you can e-mail =
me off list. Wood fire is a brand new area for me and any information =
is welcome.
