spam: low kiln firing time

Check to make sure the lid & sections are correctly seated and that
there are no gaps.
It could also be a power issue. (If you used to have 240V and now
only get 220V to your new place, that would cause the delay)
Did you replace the thermocouple with a new one AFTER the move? If
not, did it get bent or otherwise damaged in the move causing it to
misread the temperature inside the kiln? (You can verify that your
thermocouple is reading accurately by firing with witness cones)
Was the load that took 12 hours similar in size to the previous
firings you had done at the old place?
Finally, is it hot where you are? Do you and/or the other houses/
studios on your power grid have their air conditioners on? If so,
that will suck power and cause your kiln to fire slower.
Hope that helps!
