STUDENT CRAFTS PROGRAM
Due to an early retirement, an outstanding position is now under recruitment
for the Director, Student Crafts Program. This position is a vital one
within the campus business structure and is one that has a substantial
impact within the College's time honored Student Labor Program.
If you are creative by nature, entrepreneurial in spirit, have a business
management background and substantial leadership skills in a team-based work
environment, you are invited to submit an Application to Join the College
Staff. Requirements for this position include the following: an
undergraduate degree in business, industrial technology or related field;
3-5 years of management experience, preferably in a craft or related
industry; fiscal management expertise; abilities in the areas of product
design and development, oversight of production and production scheduling,
and the warehousing, distribution and sale of high quality crafts products
(Woodcraft, Weaving, Ceramic, Broomcraft and Wrought Iron). Additionally,
this position will be responsible for the long range business planning of
the crafts program and the development of successful student learning
opportunities.
