Perhaps I overlooked the info (or perhaps I don't need to know and don't
know that yet), but what type of clay body?

For anyone interested I am testing layering glazes. I have fired about 35
test tubes and am publishing the results. Some of the glazes are commercial
glazes, some are clayArt, some are MC6, and some are Bailey Glazes. There
are also some variations of some glazes that I have gotten off of clayart
that I adjusted to get it right for me. If the glazes are public I will
share the glaze or point you to the source. If the glaze came out of a book
you will have to purchase the book.
The first page can be seen by going to my web site and click on the text
Glaze Test 1. This has 10 tests.
I am in no way associated with any commercial glaze company and am just
testing these glazes for my search of glazes that will work for me. You may
get different results. I usually fast fire up and down in an electric kiln
but do soak some at top temperature. These glazes were fired where the Cone
5 large cone was touching the shelf and the Cone 6 large cone was at 9
o'clock.
I have gotten some very nice combinations.
If you have some nice combo glazes I would appreciate if you would share
them with me also.
I have three more pages that I will try to publish this week or next.
