hi all
anybody know a recipe for a strong bright orange high fire oxid. glaze that
can go over light green color?
i guess i could go buy one from local ceramics store, but i rather make my
own....
i found this
http://www.potters.org/subject45683.htm
on line, but i didn't know what she meant by RIO, is that like a mason
stain?
what would happen if i put duncan underglaze on already fired piece?
thanks
Tae

The Duncan EZ-Stroke underglaze info sheet says it works best over
underglazes (not glazes), but you can fire it up to cone 5-6. Duncan
Concepts underglazes only fire to cone 06. I would suggest doing a few tests
first, cause they're pretty forgiving. Check the site for more information:

Best, Lea in Memphis who is still using commercial glazes, but is ready to
start making her own soon.
