some very lucky person is going to get to
spend a year...paid in full, all expenses to
china.
and, to one of the finest art facilities in the
world.
the new technical school will open next year.
it is out of this world. looks like someone built
a brand new university of michigan.
all in two years.
it will take a special person, one full of
adventure and a person that has a schedule
that can just....`i gotta go now..to china//for a year.`
i have been very frank with po that he must send
ads for this sort of thing right through clayart.
he is very cautious about things..does not want to
appear pushy.
`hell, get pushy`. this stuff benefits our clayart friends.
at least those with the courage to get off their ass.
and that is what it takes ...amazing courage.
as i said last week,
`hell, i will just stay here in buttwash, nebraska and find out
about the world listening to npr.`
i have a theory:
if you have a kid in high school, the kid is smart, wants to
make something of self...get them into a chinese language
course. study hard...and the `cauldrdon of riches is waiting in china`.
i am more and more convinced that four years of french will land you
a job as a docent at a major museum. no pay.
(now, remember, tongue in cheek, don't flame me..having a good time.)
all i am saying is:
if you have the courage, want to see the world, have a great time
and a safe time...(maybe the safest place in the world..jin/da/gin, china.)
