I have been asked by a client to use a saturated iron glaze "like
Coyote's Saturated Iron Glaze". Now I have never seen this Coyote glaze
on anything, so I haven't a clue as to what I am getting into, only that
it is a saturated iron glaze and costs $28 a gallon!!
Does anyone have a saturated iron glaze recipe that I might try? And if
you have it, one that might approximate at least the Coyote glaze?? I
have everything under the sun to make glazes, but haven't a clue how to
get to this one.
Thanks a bunch,
Regards,

Hi John,
I do not know what Coyote glaze looks like, but if it is a cone 6
Saturated iron, it maybe is metallic?
Try to send me a photo and I may be able to start you off with some
recipes you can fool around with.
