Dear linda,

Thanks for this information, it was very timely for me. I'm creating a
series of "autobiographcal" plates dealing with issues about food. The
plates are carved with outlines of cartoons, comment etc, overlaid with slip
which is cut back to reveal the slip filled carving, these are then coloured
with a limited pallet of stains in transparrent clear glaze, then the whole
glazed with transparrent clear.

I wanted to do a final layer of snippets of family photos etc in the form of
decals. My option was to have them custom printed. Your article has allowed
the option of a much freer approach - and as most of the photos I want to
use will be monocolour anyway, it's perfect. I'm going to research to see if
I can get these decal sheets in the UK, if not I will definately buy from
the US.

Jacqui

Hi Jaqui,
Have you tried Pamela Moreton in Blakeney?
She does stuff for Grayson Perry and advertises in C.R.
Pat.
