It was suggested to me that I post this low-fire glaze recipe (cone 04)
and see if maybe someone is willing to put it through there glaze calc
program to see what I can do to it to make it useable at cone 06.

Gerstly Borate 650 g
Borax 650 g
Red Art 2600g

Thanks!

I sent a reply earlier, suggesting that you add in some frit 3195.
Having seen the recipe, however, I'd like to offer another suggestion.
Increase the amount of Gerstley Borate, in 5% increments, until the
glaze melts where you want it to.

May I suggest, however, that you think about replacing the G.B. in your
glaze with a frit? 3195 ought to work well. Be sure to add 2% bentonite
to act as a suspending agent. G.B. is notorious for changing from bag
to bag; I took it out of my glazes because I had so much trouble with
it.
