For quite a few years I worked at an art supply wholesaler/warehouse. For
me it was paradise, brushes and paints and pigments, exotic handmade
papers, *sigh*
Anyway, we sold cheap little plastic pallets, and also upscale porcelain
versions, that a local catering group bought by the dozens to serve
escargot. I know you all have these in your studios, round white plates with
little wells for the paint. They bought the porcelain ones some times, but
they bought tons of the little plastic ones. I have thought about making
some to sell, but have not actually done it yet. You would have two markets,
watercolorists and foodies :-)
Pam in hot steamy KC, home with the kids now that school is out, instead of
loading/unloading the bisque at the guild like most Fridays
