Marta,

(And anyone else changing their email address in the future.)

If you are no longer going to be using your old email address to post to
clayart, make sure you remove your old email address, and re-join under
your new address...

You can do this by going to:

http://www.ceramics.org/clayart/ and clicking on "Your Subscription"
button.

There you can enter your old email address, and click "Leave the List",
then enter your new email address and name and "Join the List". (Don't
forget to watch for the confirmation email.)

If you don't do this, you will not be able to post to the list using
your new email address.

Also - perhaps it would be better not to put that in the message? or say
something else ??? I receive a great deal of SPAM that has a similar
subject line and generally send them to the dungeon without a second
thought...

thanks brian for the advice!
i thought that i can outsmart spams if i
still communicate with the clayart list with my
old address, but tell my clayart friends
that i have a new one if they want to send
me a post privately.
marta matray at yahoo.com - (no space)
this way my clickable address is not present.
i think thats what the spammers harvest.
and i might still use my old address just
for clayart. is that possible at all?
i am on 'no mail' for years, but read
clayart on its website almost every day.
cheers, marta

Yup, that will work just peachy... That way when someone sends you
legitimate mail to the new address, your chances (at least for a while)
of it being spam is very, very unlikely...

Just remember to post to clayart with your old addy :)
