I call them "threaded inserts". Works for me. You will find them in
the Axner catalogue. I have searched out other sources, but so far
Axner has the best price and the most appropriate insert to our use.

Check out Michael's web site too, for good looking cabinet knobs. He did a ton of research on how to make them and also the best inserts to connect them.

Just back from seeing my latest granddaughter, Isabel Marie, born today at 1:15pm. Lots of dark, curly hair and such a sweet face. So much better than the two weeks I spent last month with my 32 year old son in ICU recovering from a Strep C infection. Toooo scary, but all is well now.
