Susan, that glaze is in Mastering Cone Six Glazes by Ron Roy and John =
Hesselberth. They asked that their recipes not be dispersed over the =
'net, and the list has largely respected their wishes because they are =
both such great contributors. The book is available from Steve Branfman =
at The Potter's Shop in Needham, MA. sbranfpots@aol.com is his address.

Chuck,
Your brief description of this glaze has strongly peaked my =
interest. Might you type a copy of this "Variegated Slate Blue (MC6G)" =
glaze so I might (and others, I dare say!) try it.

I fired a kiln that was almost all Verigated Slate Blue (MC6G) and =
cooled it very very slowly. What an amazing glaze. I am just thrilled =
with the results. So much variation just on the thickness alone. Thin =
over texture. I really like the way bone lookes over it. I never thought =
I could be a "one glaze man", but if I had to this would be the one. if =
anyone is looking to work with an interesting and stable cone 6 glaze =
try out the Calcium Semi-matt formula in Masteing Cone 6 Glazes. =
FANTASTIC!
