calcium fluoride as a galze ingredient

Dear Friends,
I do not think Calcium Fluoride is oxidised when it is heated as a glaze =
ingredient. The equation that I questioned gives Oxygen difluoride as =
one of its products. Turns out that this is quite a proficient rocket =
fuel if you are contemplating space travel. In other circumstances it =
tends to be a bit unstable and likes to explode. Thermodynamic =
calculations support this.
Rather, it is possible for Fluorite to participate in a solid state =
reaction with free silica. My calculations support this and the products =
of the reaction would be Lime and a rather reactive gas called Silicon =
Tetrafluoride.
Given an excess of Silica, a second solid state reaction would follow =
with Lime to generate Wollastonite. Now that is a glaze ingredient I =
like.
Best regards,
Ivor Lewis.
