Hi All,
I was poking around on the ASTM website the other night and found that they
have now published the standard for testing a piece of ceramics for microwave
reheating of food. Anything over five minutes is considered cooking and beyond
the scope of this standard. Its C 1607 - 06 for those interested in looking it
up.
Interestingly for porous ware they suggest getting it to absorb water prior to
testing.
Anyhow just FYI.
