Hi Marci and fellow Clayarters,
Just to let you know that it doesn't end with packing and moving.
There's the unpacking and finding a place for everything (which is where we
are now)! While you're packing, I would suggest numbering your boxes, and
keeping a separate inventory of each numbered box's contents. "This would
make it so much easier to find things when you arrive," she said, now going
back and inventorying the contents of our boxes.
We have moved from our suburban Pittsburgh, PA home to our Colorado home,
which is now our permanent home. Since we've owned and used our Ouray, CO
house for many years, this is like consolidating the possessions of 2 houses
into one house. Yes, we donated 1/3rd, dumped 1/3rd and brought only 1/3rd
of our "stuff", but right now it looks like a huge amount to incorporate. In
a word: overwhelming! It feels like we'll be nibbling away at the boxes,
gradually figuring out what to do with everything for the next few months.
However, on the positive side, we are here! And for those of you suffering
with high humidity heat, you'll get your bragging time come winter.
Our clayart email address and our cell phones will remain the same. Our Pgh
email address, the adelphia.net address will eventually terminate. So if you
have my email address in your book, please change it to: mou10man at
frontier.net.

PS Neither of us is retiring. We're just moving our work here to CO. I'm
