Sorry Ingeborg, couldn't resist,
You reduce the lizards in the kiln the same way you do anything else, either by increasing the fuel, or decreasing the oxygen getting to the fuel during combustion.........

Jude,
I used to have constant rodent problems while living in Washington State.
They did severe damage to my Kaowool door and roof. I patched things with sodium silicate and if it was a large area I would add an additional clay
"button" to give it extra holding power. You might also get some mouse
traps and leave them inside with some tasty treats: peanut butter works great.
Now I have lizard problems:) they poop all over the place and in my opinion are worse than mice (in the pooping department that is) Anyone have an idea on how to reduce the lizard population? They lay eggs inside tall vases and reproduce like crazy.
Good luck
