electric wheels/setting pedals

almost all electric wheels run too fast.
way to fast. and fast can only cause trouble.

centering at high speed is usually bad too.

that old adage that you have to speed up for
centering is based on kick wheel history.

a high torque electric wheel does not need super speed.

in fact, many just leave them set at medium speed for centering
and throwing.

take the bottom off the brent wheel pedal mechanism.
turn on the power.
turn the red dial to set the speed...slow it down.
set the wheel on high speed and turn down the red button
til the top speed is gentle.

turn the wheel off, and turn the blue button til the wheel
stops its slow spin.

make sure the white fork has not slipped.
there is a set screw that can come loose on the
main shaft.
you may have to turn that white fork down or up a bit.
re/set the screw.

one of our brent's at the farm had that problem.
finally got it fixed and perfect...after folks had left.

like i have said a thousand times...wheels are made to `fit all`.
you have to make them fit you.
it is like people think there is one bra size, and one jockey size
for all. i would not like that. a size thirty jockey would fit my left leg.
