If you want to see Potters, there are two good ones in Ubeda. One has
made a museum of his pottery collection which includes a ceramic
Roman bath tub.
Dos Hermanas in Ubeda (north of Cordoba) is a good hotel.
In May there are the patio competitions in Cordoba. You get to walk
into private back yards and courtyards. The archaeology museum in
Cordoba has a collection of ceramic well
covers. Medinah is a palace out of town that is bein restored..9th
century. The Great Mosque is fantastic with tile patterns.
Granada is also wonderful for tiles in the Alhambra (check out its
Archaeology museum with early majolica and lusterware). There are
three national museums of ceramics:
Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia. Valencia's museum was closed for
restoration of the Dos Aquas Palace. It is reopened and is great.
