Given that both books were published almost half a century ago and both =
authors rely on writings from a much earlier period they both still =
contain a great deal of good factual information. If you have doubts you =
might start reading Binns and Parmellee. The other thing you might do is =
get hold of the latest edition of Hamer and Hamer"s Dictionary to find =
out how thinking in ceramic arts may have changed.
