question about chemicals

Hi,
Was contacted by someone who's husband was a potter and wanted to dispose
of his studio after his death. The chemicals are in the usual brown bags,
sealed and most are labeled with their chemical name. Several are named
using letters and numbers. There are no listings of manufacturers or
companies on the bag. Are any of you familiar with the following designations?

MSD-555
MSD-36
BM 44
SG-555
AS-2
S-9

The wife doesn't know where they were purchased, no invoices but she did
mention a Braintree in New England and that's the closest she could come to
a company. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Jon Pacini might be a better source if he is monitoring the list
theseays but, MSD=555 and MSD-36 might be the dry forms of Moroccan
Sand glazes from Laguna. Don't know about the others.

You mentioned Braintree in the New England area? There is a Portland Pottery
South listed in Braintree MA (781) 848-0772. I got that from a Laguna
distributor search-they also had several other suppliers in the CT area. Hope this
might help.

In Braintree MA, the clay supplier is Portland Pottery Supply, who took it over from Corey Electric.
