Steve Branfman at the Potter's Shop now has a website!!! I know many
people on clayart are loyal Potter's Shop customers, and those of you
who aren't should check it out because they have pretty much every
book about ceramics that is available (and many that are out of print
too!) AND YOU WON'T FIND A SINGLE PERSON ON THE FACE OF THIS PLANET
WHO KNOWS MORE ABOUT POTTERY BOOKS THAN STEVE BRANFMAN. (I'm sure
plenty of other clayarters could attest to this) I don't usually
type in all caps, but that sentence warrants it. So, I strongly
encourage you all to go check it out. Right now, the url is http://
thepottersshop.blogspot.com/ It is basically set up right now as a
blog, but a very well done blog. One of Steve's employees, Maggie,
took the bull by the horns and set it all up. You can find the
entire Potter's Shop book list up there, as well as ordering
information, information about the school and individual sites for
the artists that work there.
Steve's son, Adam, is actually working on the a permanent website,
which will eventually be up at http://www.thepottersshop.com That
website will be a shopping cart set up, so you can buy online. For
now, you can at least have access to Steve's amazing book selection,
and I think you can order via e-mail. So, once again, the website is
