Thank you for your response.
In South Oz the State Ed Authority runs regular professional development =
courses on a regional basis with "Teacher Free Days" . At the time I =
retired they were introducing the idea that Vacation time spent at =
relevant workshops.
I am not sure of the origin of Lee Love' idea but the suggestion he made =
turned the clock back sixty years by my experience, when all grammar =
school teachers had subject degrees but only "on the job" supervision to =
train them as teachers.=20
