yes.
his showroom is open, you can find his pots there too,
and he is going to have a big solo show at the rochester
MINNESOTA art center next year, and also he is in
an exhibit at

www.gallerygen.com

with 5 other midwestern potters in new york city.

This doesn't really answer your question but if you're looking to collect
Mackenzie pottery there's always good ol' eBay. You might be surprised to
see how many of his pots show up there.

Can anyone tell me if Warren still sells pots to the
public from his home in Stillwater Minn? Can he still
be found on Jasmine Street

One note, if you go to Mr. MacKenzie's, he doesn't generally have a lot of
his work in the showroom. But if he is home, he often has some pieces in
his studio right next door. If he puts a whole bunch in the showroom at one
time, they get snapped up so he tries to spread them out.

Warren always likes to meet potters. If you are a potter, call
ahead and he will probably be happy to meet with you.

Hey, I am fresh back from GB, especially Cornwall! I am
thinking I need to "Tri-locate": Mashiko/Minnesota/Cornwall! (I am
sorry I didn't have time for Wales and Devon.)

My new bumper sticker reads: "No Hand Signals, I am eatting a Pastie!"

When Warren was in DK one summer a few years ago, he told me that there
were pots on ebay accredited to him, that were not his.

I do not know anything about ebay or how the buyer has the opportunity to
get authentication.

Best regards from Alisa

I warn people about inncorrectly attributed Hamadas, Shimaokas
and MacKenzies. I get alerts about them on a daily basis. Did this
today on a so-called Shimaoka.

Besides, you spend an arm & a leg for MacKenzie on Ebay.
MacKenzie does not like the folks who make so much money while adding
nothing to the work. Besides, folks are watching and will give your
name to him. ;^)
