Hank,
After reading your "requirements" for various colors for a copper glaze,
I looked at one of my favorite glazes listed below.
The colors are yellow, green, blue & red all at once depending on the
thickness of the glaze.
The wood ash is not washed, just sieved.
The glaze is applied thin over a white body (50% porcelain, 50%white
stoneware; no grog or sand).
The glaze is fired to cone 10 in about 12 to 14 hours with the oxyprobe
at .75 between cones 015 and 06 and at .64 from red heat to cone 015 and
cone 06 to cone 10 (cone 10 is touching, cone 11 is starting to bend).
Wood Ash 20
DOLOMITE 14
FLINT 14
CUSTER FELDSPAR 18
NEPHELINE SYENITE 14
EPK KAOLIN 18
BENTONITE 2
Copper Carb 3
Tin Oxide 1.5
