Hi friends,
I am trying to locate an email address for anyone at Lockerbie Manufacturing
Co. but have not had any luck thus far... I am trying to email them some
photos of my wheel with a specific question regarding parts.
While doing a "Google" search, I noticed that Continental Clay mentions that
Lockerbie Manufacturing Company has gone out of business since May of 2006...
wow!... This was a shock to me! They've been such an institution in our
industry for so long I'm finding it hard to believe. I wonder if anybody plans to
buy them out and keep the company alive? Anyone know anything about this
situation? Looks like they had an ad in CM too offering to sell the company...
hmmm... wonder what's going on?
I bought a used motorized kick wheel about a year ago and have been meaning
to talk to someone at the company about the pedal assembly. It appears to have
been tweaked pretty severely and was looking at seeing what I could do about
replacing a part (or two if needed)... guess I should've acted sooner on
this... darn. Hope parts are still available. I took some digital pics today and
have them ready to email out to anyone I can find at the company (if there is
anyone left) that may be able to help.
