hi, everyone.

i have a distant, faint memory of going to the clayart archives &
finding a list by geographical location.

i used it to plan a trip to another part of the country.

but i just went to the archives & can't find it.

has it disappeared? am i looking in the wrong place?

or is it just my brain playing tricks on me?

i know i can search the potters council by geography, but i was SURE
there was something like this in the clayart archives.

any help on this... or on how to reallign my brain... will be greatly
appreciated.

thanks.

from rochester, ny, where we're going to have the first day in weeks
that doesn't feel like being simmered on a stove. so what am i going to
do? fire the kiln, of course. and then work in the studio. ARRRGGHH

You may be thinking of the frappr.com ClayArt map
that was set up by Kathy Forer last November.
Check it out at:

Hope this helps,

Sabra,

You may also find the location of many of the over 1000 Clayart members at:
http://amsterlaw.com/clayart/ a page of links and photos I have collected
over the years, and which is kindly hosted by Clayarter Bill Amsterlaw on
his website.

For a specific state, use the search or find option in your browser. You
should try the full name of the state and the 2-letter abbreviation, ie:
Washington and WA for the state of Washington.

Remember to return the cursor to the top of the page for each new search.

Make the search for the two letters "case sensitive" to avoid too many false
positives! ;)

You can also search for cities and towns if you have specific locations in
mind, and for other countries (full name only) as well.

Note that the locations in the USA will not usually be specifed as such,
since a large majority of the entries are for American locations.
