I totally agree that it would be a shame if all that grad school work was a waste, however, I also
wonder about people who peak too early. I keep hearing stories about galleries who are hovering
around grad school studios and picking works from students who are then afraid to move past an
idea because the first one sold. I'm not sure that this is a CLAY student experience, however I
know that when had my thesis show I very clearly thought of it as a very humble beginning, not
the "I've made it" moment that I thought it would be.
