Come and explore design techniques in surface decoration and lusters on
functional and sculptural porcelain pieces with this Daytona Beach artist who was
featured in the popularCrealde exhibition Plates and Platters. A portion of
the workshop will be devoted to brushmaking. All materials are provided. This
is a wonderful opportunity for you to share and learn in a fun and friendly
environment.
Libby Ware's ceramic bowls and sculptures reveal a striking sense of form
,line, and color while expressing humor and whimsy in detail and design. Most
recently she has been concentrating on larger sculptural pieces that draw on
her years in Afganistan and her fascination with Native American, Australian
Aborigine, Japanese and other cultures.
