Mud Bucket Pottery will host a workshop, "Image Transfer on Clay,"
featuring Douglas E. Gray, an artist and professor at Francis Marion
University. Doug's exciting work can be viewed at
alpha1.fmarion.edu/finearts/deginf1.htm. Beginning Friday, September
29, Doug will discuss the processes for image transfer and show slides
of his work while guests enjoy snacks and beverages. On Saturday,
September 29, Doug will conduct a hands-on workshop for workshop
participants. Participants will transfer their images to clay pieces
that will be fired overnight. On Sunday, October 1, Doug will review
the fired work completed during the workshop. This is an exciting
opportunity for the beginning or advanced potter to work with a
nationally-exhibited artist.

Sorry for the shameless self promotion. John couldn't get the message
through to clayart and there were a few participants at the Southern
Fried Symposium who were interested in the information. He asked me to
post this for him, honest.
