As un-PC as it may sound, bake goodies for extra cash! No kidding! I li=

to bake "from scratch" pineapple upside down cakes, cookies, brownies, a=

C.A.,
That's actually a great idea. Especially since Kelly
does everything from scratch already she wouldn't have
to refer to some cookbook.
Homemade breads, homemade jams, homemade olive boats.
I'd even order some of her homemade jam paying for
shipping, too. Christmas shopping early and saving
gas and time.
Kelly?

I got a chuckle out of that one C.A. ,
at our local farmer's market people will pay a $1 each
for my cranberry ginger scones ,,,,and 4-5 dollars
for my homemade jellies jams and specialty breads.
I always have an assortment of my pottery mugs and small
bowls there for very low prices
like 5 or 10 dollars...the food items outsell the pots 4 to
1.
Maybe I should give up pots and patent the scone recipe.
All kidding aside I think when the economy is down , like it
is here
on the prairies people need to meet their basic needs first.

I eagerly opened this email. I, too, am looking for ways to fund my graduate education. But, I'm afraid baking won't help me with this round. The MS in Nursing Informatics (U of Maryland) which I will start on Monday is totally online. Good thing since I travel for work and live in California.
Many, many years ago before I started my 1st baccalaureate, I had a rural paper route. I took the route because it permitted me to take my children along with me to work. I was able to save enough money for my first year of college.
If anyone else has good ideas about financing a graduate degree, I'm all eyes!
