Anyone out there have thoughts/ideas on what to add to a glaze that glasses over beautifully but shows severe crazing?. I am tired of selling my coffee mugs with the disclaimer that this batch look like mugs but are $2 pencil holders.

Without the glaze recipe and type of clay you are using, it's hard to=20
say.
However, here are some things to try: Try adding more magnesium into=20
the dry mix, at the expense of alkaline fluxes. If your recipe doesn't=20=
have lithium in it, try adding 1% or 2% (yes, I know lithium is=20
alkaline, but a tiny bit is beneficial). Try increasing the silica. Try=20=
slightly changing the firing temp (1/2 cone up or down--or try both=20
ways).
If you can re-post with more info, we can be more helpful.

Post the glaze, and various folks will try to help. If you want to do it
yourself, the key is to replace high COE things in the glaze with lower
COE while leaving the quantity of silica and alumina more or less the
same.
My own experience has been that reducing sodium sources and
increasing sources of magnesium, lithium, and calcium is generally
the path to success.
Glaze software helps quite a bit.
