I am resending for those who did not recieve:

Remember: Dude Daddy's Welocome

I am loosely organizing a Clayart Mama's Pot swap
event for the Clay Expressions Conference in
Indianapolis. You need not be attending the
conference to attend the Swap/lunch out with other
Clayart people/especially Mom's.

Write me if you are up for it. Informally, we will
try and meet at :

the lobby of

AMACO - American Art Clay Company • 6060 Guion Road,
Indianapolis, IN 46254

where the conference is being held.

We are on our own for lunch on Saturday and all in one
spot, so let's plan on meeting up then. Your brown
bag should contain one thing you would like to trade.

12-1 lobby of AMACO building, brown bag to indicate
you are in on the swap. No idea where we can do
lunch, so that is up in the air for now.

More info as it develops. I expect we can meet up for
lunch informally and do something else later that
night if anyone is up for it and has an idea.

Please feel free to chime in and suggest something if
you know the area. We're doing it on Saturday so that
spouse's can deal with your kids, but bring pictures!

I hope some Indy Dad potters also attend.

Elizabeth, if you're going to the building that we went to on the bus =
tour at NCECA, you're not gonna be near a restaurant as far as I =
remember. Seems to me that it was way out in the boonies. Better pack =
a lunch or pick a better meeting spot.

The meeting place for the Clay Expressions conference
is different than at the Indianapolis NCECA. I think. Amaco moved to 6060
Guion Road. It is in a warehouse park. There isn't anything right there
except more warehouses. But there are a number of places relatively nearby,
a few blocks.

Previously, it was at Speedway/Indy 500, which is only
really busy when there's a race. At least, Brickyard
Ceramics was at Speedway. In any case, the workshop
is going to be in the warehouse park this time.

Ok, it's where the confedrence is, so it's where the
conference attendees will be, but that's an
assumption.

Any ideas for lunch.

It's open to ANY clayarter's AND any mom's but no
eye-rolling if the conversation turns to "how to do it
and still make pots"!

Seriously, do we need to pack lunches? Cause we can
do that....really really well.
