hi all,
i was taught to throw a catch basin for
side fire pots.... well now i would like
to make a whole bunch of them and am
trying to avoid making a whole bunch
of catch basins for the shard pile..
is there another technique that would
work? this is in a reduction kiln with
shino glazes.

Kris,
Can you explain what a "catch basin" is? I side fire on seashells
packed with wadding.
