Elizabeth,,,,,,,,,I like the Grip too. Got frustrated losing too many pots
using the old fashion methods of trimming. Seldom ever lose a pot now with
the Grip.

Better livin' through chemistry...
That's an old favorite truism for me and I would
extend it to "better livin' through technology"
But I am oldschool with one regard, I think the
closer
you stay to your work the better the work, so I
actually PREFER to deal with my bottoms by hand rather
than wheel techniques.
But if you are firing up the electricity anyhow, why
use little blobs of clay when the new silicon slider
pads leave no mark and are curvilinear so they fit
snug.
I love good design.
The GG is good design.
So are Amaco Reward Velvets.
And the YORK kickwheel.
I really believe in those products and have no
financial connection to any of those products.
But I was trained as a designer first and an artist
second, so I get into stuff like that.
