The Texas Teapot Tournament is indeed open worldwide.
Keep in mind however:
$35 entry fee
artists pay shipping and insurance to exhibition
artists pay shipping and insurance return;
(if it doesn't sell; but let's think positive!)
50% sales commission benefits C.A.M.E.O.
entry form & fee must be received by November 5, 2006
(as advertised in Ceramics Monthly
call for entries)
images of work must be shipped with work or via email
for our cataloging and installation reference.
artists' checks mailed out beginning March 15th.
artwork parameters: 24" maximum any dimension,
60% fired clay minimum,
25 lbs. maximum weight
completed within the past 2 years
maximum 2 teapots per artist
300 teapots capacity (artists will be notified
mid November if met)
We would love to have your artwork exhibited in the
competition! Feel free to contact me if you have any
other questions.
