Can any fellow ClayArters help me out with a cone 10 glaze recipe? I've lost
my recipe for Warren MacKenzie Shino. I've searched the internet for days
and couldn't find it. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe I found it...I have a copy of that biography on him that came out
several years ago. Is this it?

Shino Type
Custer Feldspar 42
Spodumene 36
EPK 12
Soda ash 9

"All glazes listed below are expressed as proportions, or 'parts by
weight.' These in turn can be converted into any chosen system of weights:
grams, kilograms, ounces, pounds, etc."

There are several other glazes and clay bodies listed in this book...if
you're interested I could scan the pages for you...

Thanks Patrick for the recipe. I'm not sure if it is the exact one I'm
looking for but I'm loading a kiln today so I'll test it out and let you
know. Thanks a bunch.
Jeff.
