Paul Antone will be teaching a one day workshop in Olalla, WA (outside of Gig Harbor) at Childs House Bed and Breakfast, Oct. 7th on Aluminum Foil Saggar and Raku firing. The cost is $65 and includes a lunch provided by the sponsors of the workshop, Gary and Susan Larsen.
Students will work hands-on, all firing materials will be provided; students should bring 8-10 bisqued pots. Pots with a terra sigilata surface works best with this type of saggar firing. There will be bisqued pots available for purchase. Paul will also demonstrate post firing spraying of ferric chloride over clear, crackle raku glaze.
