Raku: Origins, Impact, and Contemporary Expression

The American Museum of Ceramic Art (AMOCA) will host Raku: Origins, Impact,
and Contemporary Expression, from November 11 =96 January 27, 2007. This
exhibition provides a global perspective on contemporary ceramic artists
working with raku firing methods. Featured artists are Tim Andrews, Jean
Biagini, Stephen Branfman, Patrick Crabb, Chang-Juan Chang, Aline Favre,
Fabienne Gioria, Rick Hirsch, David Jones, Toshio Ohi, Jim Romberg
(organizer), and Paul Soldner.
Raku Extravaganza Workshop

Participating artists/demonstrators: Steven Branfman, Patrick Crabb, Jim
Romberg, and Paul Soldner
Including: Continental breakfast, introductions & demonstrations, panel
discussion, glazing demonstration, firing of raku kilns, and ends with an
