Hi,
I'm Shastan, from Canada, temporarily living in California. Haven't
been on the list for long, and I'm usually reading several days late
to join in.

I can`t say enough about Clayart list.
I`ve become a ` know it all`, gasp... to my guild, through what I have
learned through the list..
I`ve met Alisa in Denmark..she`s the one who told me about it as soon
as I
got internet.

And now have the project of trying to put together a project
of getting Wally Assellbergh sfrom Belgium to do a workshop here in
Alberta.>>>

Lela, I can't help you regarding Wally, but I just attended an
AMAZING workshop given by Eduardo Lazo, who employs and teaches the
same basic naked raku method as Wally. I can't say enough good
things about his workshop (Alternative Raku), and am absolutely
thrilled with the results. Eduardo is much closer to you than Wally
is . . . . just a thought.

Bright, dark, and smokey blessings,
Shastan

The internet shrinks the world.
I din`t know anything about Eduard,
but Wally wants to see the Rockie mountains.
and it gives me reason to get husband to help work on the
bedroom basent bedroom..
Ya use what ya can when ya can...
Where from Canada are you living?
Best wishes from me on the southern Alts praire.
Lela

Lela,

Wally is worth the extra miles!!! He is wonderful raku potter/presenter
and a adventurous, creative and humorous person.
We have great memories from his visit and workshop at our place in North
Carolina.

And no, he didn't pay me to write this. :-)

Well,
we will see what happens. Medicine Hat treasurer and the Alberta Potters
Association are working on it.
He certainly is funny..from what I`ve read in our comunications
via e-mails.
I am advising friends to see his site,
I love those forms of his.
Cheers from Lela
