seeley's slip--anyone have any leads?

it seems there's a seeley's shortage across the country... grrr. (i've heard
this from lots ofpeople, including my supplier).

since one of my lines is slipcasted, it's hard to get any work done when
there's no slip. (i know there are other slips... but of the four people in
my studio we use a total of 8-9 different seeley's colors/blends for our work.)

does anyone know what's going on?

Maybe you could contact the Seeley's company itself?

Alyssa,

Have you tried Colorific Porcelain?
(http://www.colorificporcelain.com/) I used it for years when I had my
porcelain slipcasting operation in Alaska. Bought it by the pallet load
and had it shipped up. I still use it some, when I do slipcasting
pieces, though most of my work now is thrown on a wheel.

Good stuff.

Hi Alyssa - I think there were some problems
this summer, but they seem to be OK now. You
can contact me at Mile Hi Ceramics - we carry
the Seeley Porcelain slips in stock.
