National Geographic Television MegaStructures contacted us last summer to
provide footage on how we make pottery. They did a documentary on the
science of brick making and wanted to compare it to pottery making. We
were fortunate to be the studio they chose. It will air Thursday on the
National Geographic Channel at 2:00 pm Pacific. We haven't seen it yet.
We have no idea how much if any of the footage will be used. Jim shot
about two hours of raw footage which we submitted to the producers. He
used his cameras from his other company, Pipeline Training Services Ltd.
to get some good closeups of wheel work all the way through to the
finished product. If you have a chance you might want to check it out. We
will be!
